CHARLOTTE, NC—Winthrop sophomore Quemell Brave broke his own school record in the long jump and sophomore distance runner Kevin Mills captured first place in the 3,000 meter steeplechase as the Eagle men's and women's track teams opened the outdoor season at the 49er Classic Meet at Charlotte's Belk Track.
